AccelerateRPA - TextMagic - Send SMS

An activity for sending SMS to one or multiple phone numbers using the TextMagic API

This activity can be used for sending SMS to one or multiple phone numbers using the TextMagic API.

Send SMS:

• Provide the recipients phone numbers and the body of the message to send a SMS text message to each phone number (country codes are required for the phone number).

This activity is applicable in multiple scenarios:

• It can be used as a service to get regular status updates from a robot
• It could send warning messages to the relevant employees when a business exception is met, indicating human intervention is needed.
• Potentially the largest benefit comes from the ability to contact customers en masse. E.g. If a robot processes a customers payment within a process a text message can be sent to update the customer to notify them that their payment has been processed immediately or a message can be sent instantly to notify them that there payment has been rejected.

This activity requires an account with TextMagic and a provided API key. A free trial gives enough credit to send multiple messages.
