Overview
Overview
When a workbook is linked to another workbook, and this workbook is opened using Excel application scope, a pop-up appears asking the user to confirm if they want this workbook to be updated or not. Unless the user clicks on either of the buttons, further tasks in the workflow are not executed as the Bot is in pause state and waiting for the pop-up to disappear.
This Snipppet will take input from the user in the form of arguments and will click on either of the buttons. The user needs to provide input (Update or Don't Update ) and if the workbook provided is the linked workbook, then the Bot will click on the button based on the user's input and thus the Bot will not enter the pause state. The bot will perform as normal if the workbook indicated is not a linked workbook. Hence this Snippet can be used with any type of workbooks (linked or non linked).
The user needs to provide input as:
If the the input provided is anything other than these then the bot will throw an exception.
