Hi Priya, while encrypting the file I am facing an issue as " the process cannot access the file "Output file " because it is currently used by another process"
Any helpful inputs?
Hi Mac,
If the file that you are trying to encrypt is open or couldn't be closed properly in previous step( you can see application process running in task manager) , then you will get this exception. Hence before using this activity ensure the file is not open or not used any other user at the same time when robot is trying to encrypt (if pesent in shared drive).
I only see the following proerties for the Encrypt Activity Common - Display Name; File - DestinationFilepath and SourceFilePath; Misc - Private; String- Input and Output... Where would the key go?
Please check if you are using the right version of the activity. The initial release of this package had the Key hard coded in the Package itself. Hence I would request you to please check if you are using the latest version (1.0.6844.29335) and if its been updated using the package manager. Let me know how if this helps. Thanks!
Priya, is the encryption key embedded within the code?

Encryption key is not hardcoded in the code, it can be configured in the properties panel of the activity.
