This demonstration by DigiServ, powered by UiPath, demonstrates how RPA can improve the speed and quality of routine processes within a legal practice.

Digi, the persona of RPA from DigiServ, will process routine legal notice emails and attachments received frequently by the law firm:

*   Processing several new notice emails, downloading attachments
*   Improving the attachment filename by adding the case number (gathered from email subject) and date / time received
*   For each attachment:
*   Using case # from email subject, gather the internal matter ID and client name (via lookup from internal records)
*   Place PDF into the Clio practice management system, into the appropriate client/matter folder
*   Send an email notifying the contacts (such as attorneys, paralegals, clients, etc) of the newly received notice
*   Archive the original email to “Processed by Robot” folder for future reference
