Activity Description

Data tables are one of the common data type variables that we use to perform various different manipulations on a set of data. However, there are some functions that require quite complex level of coding. Due to the complexity, such working examples are hard to be found online. Though it’s complex, the demand for it is not reducing. This component is aiming to build up an activity pack that work with complex data table functionalities that are hard to be found online.

Activities Included

With every update, this component will be included with new activities that ease out complex data table related manipulations. As the initial version, this activity pack includes three activities.

• Data Table Consolidate: Enables to easily perform data grouping and calculating SUM, AVG, MIN, MAX, COUNT, STANDARD DEVIATION AND VARIANCE of the figures
• Data Table Column Sort: We can easily sort the data of a data table. However, ordering the columns of a data table is bit of a hassle. This activity helps ordering the columns in ascending or descending order of the column name with ease.
• Data Table Horizontal Merge: Combines the columns of two data tables with minimum joining capabilities. However, specifying a match column is mandatory. Though the data in it will not be matching, it will combine the two tables as one and the data will be arranged based on how it is matched.

This component aims to simplify the frequent but complex needs related to data tables. This component introduces a set of activities that can perform the complex tasks behind the scenes so that the user do not need to worry about the complexity involved and the logic behind to write it every time they need for their automation solutions. By using the activities included, the user can simply get the complex tasks done within seconds by providing the required configurations.
