This Proof of Concept (POC) created with the UiPath Intelligent Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Pack can extract information from different types of formats including picture copies.

It can be used for different activities such as digitize documents, classify documents, extract information from specific fields with RegEx & ML Algorithm, train bots.

To extract and index the information we used a custom made VB.Net Windows Form.

**Process flow:**

1.  Add the scanned invoice images in the Documents folder.
2.  Run the bot.
3.  After processing, the documents will be moved to the Processed folder.
4.  The extracted information will be saved as an Excel file in the Output folder.
