Version 2.0 Updates: Nov 17, 2019

Separate Database Folder in Code download

• Effective November 15, 2019, the ConfigDB database has been published in a separate folder in the form of an .mdb file. This change enables the database to be enhanced with features that do not directly impact the workings of the framework
• For Example: the latest database has features to set up new projects by copying settings from an existing project and this isn’t directly related to the workings of the framework. Therefore, users must download the database separately when downloading the framework template
• Current users can choose to migrate their configuration settings to the new version of the database if they choose to as there are no changes to the tables or views.

Note: Until GO! Market place enables me to upload the database as a separate resource, the database although in a separate folder, will still be part of a single zip

End State Machine Enhanced

• CloseAllApplications.xaml inside of the End State Machine has been enhanced to accept the Config dictionary 
• This enhancement offer the capability to write completely reusable and parameterized Shutdown sequences

Folder Test_Framework/File _Test.xaml removed

• The Test framework does not work with this template as the tests were written for the stock framework
• Therefore the Test_Framework folder and _Test.xaml files have been removed from the code base

Minor Annotation Enhancements:

• The annotations have been enhanced to be more helpful to end users

Updated Documentation:

• Version 3.0 of the documentation has been updated to use new features of the ConfigDB.

• Original documentation titled REFramework documentation.pdf removed from the \Documentation folder - See note below
• Removed folder \Test_Framework , as it causes validation failures of the project that prevents deployments to Orchestrator.
• The bug was reported by Component creator here.

Document renamed to:

• Advanced Enterprise RPA Process Template - User Guide.pdf

Major Content changes:

• New section titled Importing Additional Database Libraries added
• Instructions revised further for section titled: Utility Component - Identify_Processes_By_Name.xaml
• Section titled The MasterConfig.xlsx Framework Configuration File updated
• Section titled Loading Configuration Settings – Most Significant Change updated
• Table of Contents updated
