The ServiceNow Activity package contains around 60 activities that allow you to perform various operations such as adding, deleting, updating, or getting (ADD, DELETE, UPDATE or GET) on different objects from ServiceNow like INCIDENT, USER, TASK, PROBLEM, CATALOG, KNOWLEDGE ARTICLE, GROUPS, ASSET, CHANGE. ServiceNow API エンドポイントの UiPath オートメーションでの使用方法を紹介するコンポーネントです。実装が容易で、ServiceNow プラットフォーム上で様々な処理を実行する HTTP Request アクティビティの使用方法を学ぶサンプルとしても利用できます。API エンドポイントのメソッドとパラメーターについての習得コストを考えても、API オートメーションは従来の UI オートメーションに比べ高速です。

API を使用して ServiceNow アプリケーションでの処理を実行するコンポーネントは次の通りです。

*   **DownloadAttachment.xaml** - 指定された Attachment ID (添付 ID) の添付バイナリを取得し、指定された File Path (ファイルパス) でファイルを保存する
*   **DownloadTaskList.xaml** - 指定された条件でフィルタリングしたタスクをダウンロードする (利用できるダウンロードの出力形式には、XLSX、XLS、PDF、CSV があるが、ServiceNow API でサポートされているその他の出力形式については未実装あるいは未テスト)
*   **GetAttachmentsList.xaml** - 指定されたテーブルのレコードに対し添付リストを取得する。出力形式は DataTable で Attachment ID (添付 ID)、File Name (ファイル名)、Content type (コンテンツタイプ)、Size (サイズ - バイト数) の 4 列を持つ
*   **GetRecord.xaml** - 指定されたテーブルにおいて Identifier (識別子) で特定されたレコードを取得する。Display Values が戻され、内部の値と参照リンクはもどされない
*   **GetRecords.xaml** - 指定されたテーブルにおいて指定された条件でフィルタリングして得られた複数のレコードを取得する。ウェブサービスから取得された複数のフィールドからなる配列を指定することも可能。ServiceNow の sysparm\_fields パラメーターに対応する
*   **GetRequestItemVariables.xaml** - リクエストアイテム用の変数を取得する。取得するのは変数名 (内部) と値のみ。Variables テーブル (sc\_item\_option\_mtom)、Request アイテムをフィルタリングするクエリ、2 項目 (変数名と値) だけを含む出力用に設定された GetRecords.xaml を使用する
*   **UpdateRecord.xaml** - 入力の DataTable オブジェクトに含まれる新しいデータで指定されたレコードを更新する。最低 2 つの列 (1 つ目がフィールド名、2 つ目が新しい値) を必要とする

ServiceNow アプリケーションとの通信は UiPath.WebAPI.Activities パッケージの HTTP Request アクティビティを使って行われます。すべてのリクエストの認証は、HTTP Basic Authentication (セキュア HTTP が使用される場合にのみセキュアとなる) で行われます。

ServiceNow 用のテスト環境の取得方法は下記のとおりです。

*   アカウント作成後に ServiceNow にログイン
*   [テストインスタンス](https://developer.servicenow.com/app.do#!/instance)をリクエスト 注意: 使用されない日が 10 日続くと、インスタンスは削除されます

ServiceNow プラットフォーム上の操作を REST API エンドポイントを使って実行できるコンポーネント

Provides an introduction on how to use ServiceNow API endpoints for UiPath automation. Not an exhaustive implementation, but should be considered more as a starting point and an example on how to use the HTTP Request activity to perform different actions on ServiceNow platform. API automation is faster at run-time compared with traditional UI automation, at the cost of additional learning required for the API endpoints methods and parameters.

Several components to perform different actions in ServiceNow application using the API:

*   **DownloadAttachment.xaml** - This workflow gets the binary file attachment for a given Attachement ID value and saves it in a specified File Path.
*   **DownloadTaskList.xaml** - Download the tasks filtered by specified criteria in one of the supported output formats. The output file can be in different formats, such as XLSX, XLS, PDF, CSV. Other formats are supported by Service Now api, but not implemented or tested in this workflow.
*   **GetAttachmentsList.xaml** - This workflow gets the attachments list for a record in a given table. The output if formated as a DataTable with 4 columns for the attachment ID, file name, content type and size in bytes.
*   **GetRecord.xaml** - This method retrieves the record identified by a specified Identifier in a given table.The Display Values are returned, instead of internal values and the reference links are not returned.
*   **GetRecords.xaml** - Retrieves multiple records for the specified table filtered by specified criteria. We can also specify is an array with the fields that are retrieved from the webservice. Correspond to the Service Now sysparm\_fields parameter.
*   **GetRequestItemVariables.xaml** - This method retrieves the variables for a given request item. Only the variable name (internal) and value are retrieved. Uses the GetRecords.xaml workflow configured for the Variables table (sc\_item\_option\_mtom), the query parameter for Request Item filtering and the output includes only two fields - variable's name and value.
*   **UpdateRecord.xaml** - This workflow updates the specified record with the new data contained in the input DataTable object. At least two columns are required, first column is used for field name and the second column is used for new value.

Communication with ServiceNow application is done using the HTTP Request activity, found in the UiPath.WebAPI.Activities package. All requests are authenticated using HTTP Basic Authentication which is secure only when secure HTTP is used.

Components to perform different actions on the ServiceNow platform using the REST API endpoints.

This workflow retrieves the REST API Incident table's endpoint URL, username, password, incident creation details like description, short description, impact, urgency and priority.

  

The workflow outputs the incident number and incident sys\_id.
