Microsft Exchange - Automate Tasks and Integrate with RPA

Built to enterprise-level and industry-leading standards, in order to solve the problem for automating Shared/Group Mailbox. This custom package has the following features:

*   Initialize Exchange Service
*   Read Mails
*   Send Emails
*   Reply to Mails
*   Forward Mails
*   Save Attachments
*   Move Mails

It has all options as we have them manually working with Shared/Group Mailbox.

This is useful for the following tasks with Shared/Group Mailbox : read mail, send mail, forward mail, save attachment, reply to mail and move mail

At this moment this is the only fully working set of activities based on EWS for UiPath:

*   handles up to 500 folders (500 is max for Exchange server)
*   reads as many messages from server as you want (there is no limit to 1000 messages!) also from Sharedmailbox
*   saves all file attachments, filtering by extension if needed, and removing forbidden chars from file names, so file is saved instead of throwing exception (i.e. a lot of invoicing systems use forbidden characters for invoices files names),

It contains the following activities:

**Convert String To SecureString** **\-** it is not recommended to store your password as string, but if you have to this activity it will convert it to SecureString.

**Create Exchange Connection -** allows you to create a connection to Exchange Server which can be used later with other activities. You can connect using Autodiscover or providing domain and server address.

**Get Exchange Messages -** retrieves messages from server and returns as List. Can pull as many messages as you want (not limited to 1000), handles also SharedMailBox.

**Move Message -** move e-mail message from current location to provided mailfolder.

**Save Attachments -** save all attachments from provided . Attachments can be filtered by extensions, optionally files can be renamed if a file with the same name exists or can be always renamed. If the original names should be kept, the forbidden chars will be removed from the name if there are some.

**Retrieve Attachment -** retrieve attachments from messages (.eml or .msg) saved on drive and saves them in a provided location. Additional filtering/renaming options like above are available.

Send e-mail, send plain text or HTML message using Exchange.

Official UiPath activities for Exchange Server mailbox management administrative operations: create, delete, enable, disable.

Email details can be retrieved easily using ‘Get Exchangemail message’ activity within UiPath, however, filtering option is not available so we get only top mails. 

  

This activity is used to filter the mails using exchange on the basis of Subject, Body ,Received Date & unread mail. The output of this activity can be used with other exchange activities of UiPath.

  

**Customized Exchange Activity Details**

  

Custom Activity to fetch mail messages from the specified folder of Exchange Mailbox based upon the optional input of filters. 

The Inputs include:

  

*   **Body:** Text to search in body of the mail message
*   **Mark As Read:** Mark retrieved messages as Read. Specifies whether the retrieved messages should be marked as read. By default, it is set to false.
*   **Only Unread mail:** Retrieve only unread mails from mail folder. Specifies whether to read only unread messages. By Default, it is set to false.
*   **Start Date:** Retrieves all the mails with the date between specified Start Date and End Date parameters. If End Date input is not specified, all the mails till current date are retrieved. Specify input date string in the format MM-dd-yyyy hh:mm:ss AM/PM. If time is not specified, default time is added as 00:00:00
*   **End Date:** Retrieve mails between specified start and end dates. If no start date is specified, all the mails till specified end date are retrieved. Retrieves all the mails with the date between specified Start Date and End Date parameters. If Start Date input is not specified, all the mails till specified end date are retrieved. Specify input date string in the format MM-dd-yyyy hh:mm:ss AM/PM. If time is not specified, default time is added as 23:59:59.
*   **Subject:** Text to search for in subject of mail message. Retrieves all the mails which contain the specified input in subject line. This can read from the shared mailbox also.

The **Output** of this activity is a List of MailMessage. This activity can be easily integrated with existing activities for Exchange.

Filter the mails in Exchange on the basis of specific criteria like Subject, Body, Date,etc.The output can be used with other exchange activities.
